This light grey cover strip is a decorative trim which fits into older caravan and motorhome opening window rubbers to hide the staples holding the seal onto the vehicle. At 23mm wide it is slightly narrower than the standard cover strip and is usually used in older opening window rubbers.
We recommend purchasing our cover strip fitting tool to help fit the cover strip into your window rubber. This helps simplify the process of installing the trim by lifting up the lips of the rubber seal and inserting the cover strip underneath. Please click this link for video demonstrations showing how to use our tools. You will also need Silicone spray to lubricate the tool so that it easily slides around the channel.
