Rubber U Channels (Rounded)

Rubber U channels with a rounded bottom closely resemble a curved profile similar to the letter ‘U’. Manufactured from solid rubber materials, these profiles have flexible walls so can be bent and manipulated into channels or onto the edge of a panel. These products can be purchased to suit different panel thicknesses with a selection of wall thicknesses. This allows you to choose the best fitting profile for your application.

Rounded sections can be used for different purposes, such as sealing window channels or edge protection. Often fitted into aluminium window frames, rubber U channels with a rounded bottom are used for sealing fixed windows on boats and some older motorhomes. To identify the best replacement product, you will need to measure the internal dimensions of your window frame, as well as the thickness of the glass. These sections can also be used to protect edges by providing a solid rubber barrier that distributes impact and stress.
