Self Adhesive Sponge Sheet (Expanded Neoprene)

Self adhesive sponge sheet is available in a range of thicknesses and supplied in 2 metre by 1 metre sheets. As a closed-cell sponge material, it does not absorb water so easily compresses to make watertight seals. It can also be cut into smaller pieces using a sharp knife allowing for the production of custom sized gaskets for cushioning and sealing applications. Supplied with a scrim tape self adhesive backing, sponge sheet can be easily stuck to most flat clean surfaces, such as acrylic, metal, plastic and wood. Simply peel off the backing paper and stick in place.

Although the scrim backing offers some resistance to moisture and water, we do not recommend that you use this product in environments which have constant immersion to water. Where there is a large amount of moisture or water present, it is advisable to use plain expanded neoprene stuck to the underlying surface with a good contact adhesive.

Manufactured from expanded neoprene, sponge sheet is a soft flexible material that has excellent a resistance to UV, air and ozone. The operating temperature range is between -40°C to +100°C.
