Motorhome & Caravan Double Glazed Opening Window Seals

Most motorhome and caravans are fitted with double glazed opening windows that take an opening window seal. As these seals are constantly compressed with the opening and closing of the window, they can become less effective at keeping your motorhome or caravan warm and comfortable. Replacing these seals when they begin to deteriorate is essential in minimising the chance of damp issues in the wooden frame.

Double glazed opening window seals are available in a selection of sizes to suit most motorhome or caravan makes and models. The correct replacement section can be identified by measuring the thickness of the body of your van, and diameter of the sealing bulb on your existing seal. These double glazed window seals require an insert strip, also known as a cover strip, to hide the staples holding the seal onto the body of your motorhome or caravan. As the insert strip is a decorative trim, these products can be purchased in grey, white or black to suit the other fixtures and fixings on your van.
