Our S shaped glazing window rubbers are designed to hold the window or panel in your boat, car, van, sign or cabinet. Unlike Claytonrite window rubbers this section does not require a filler strip so is recommended for small light weight windows or panels in signs or display cabinets. This seal is commonly used in situations where the Perspex or glass is larger than the aperture of the hole.
This section has 5mm-6mm and 2.5mm-3.5mm gaps for either your glass or panel. These gaps are universal allowing the seal to be used either way around.
We manufacture this product from high quality EPDM which is a rubber compound suitable for extreme environments and weather conditions. This material has a good modular resistance to most substances and is a strong and robust material to securely hold the window into your boat, car or van. EPDM is around the same hardness (70° Shore A) as the rubber on a car tyre and has an operating temperature range between -40°C to +120°C.
We recommended that you bed the rubber in with a silicone sealant, such as S138 (sold separately).
