Caravan & Motorhome Clip on Door Seal with Ivory Trim Cover Tail (CS5883)

This caravan and motorhome door seal comprises of an edge trim with side seal and an ivory coloured trim cover tail. It is designed to fit onto a 1.5mm to 2.5mm thick panel edge and has a 13mm sponge sealing bulb. It is commonly used on caravan and motorhome doors, hatches, lockers, enclosures and cabinets. We recommend compressing the sponge bulb by approximately 30% to create a good seal and avoid compression set.

It is manufactured with a self-gripping metal spine so will hold itself in place without the need for additional adhesive. This creates a secure section able to hold its shape and withstand impact but can be removed and reused multiple times if required. It can be fitted onto an edge by tapping it on with your hand or a soft faced hammer.

We manufacture this product from high quality PVC and expanded EPDM. These are hard-wearing rubber compounds suitable for a wide range of caravan and motorhome applications. These materials have a good resistance to most substances including some chemicals, UV, air and ozone but are not recommended for use in areas which may come into contact with oil or fuel. The average operating temperature range is between -10°C to +60°C.
