Solid Neoprene Rubber Strip

Solid Neoprene rubber strip is available in a range of widths and thicknesses and is supplied in 5 metre rolls. This black flexible rubber strip is an ideal material for sealing and edging applications, and can also be used as a cushion between two surfaces. Solid neoprene can easily be cut with a sharp knife so can be used to make custom-sized gaskets.

Neoprene can be bonded to most clean and grease-free surfaces. The material and surface should be abraded and solvent wiped before using a good quality contact adhesive such as our Alpha Thixofix Contact Adhesive or 2 Part Waterproof Contact Adhesive to join the surfaces together.

Neoprene is a man-made synthetic rubber that is around the same hardness (70°sh) as a car tyre. It is one of the most versatile rubber compounds as it tough, abrasion resistant and exhibits a good general resistance to most substances. The operating temperature range is between -20°C to +80°C.
