Rubber Cord

Rubber cord is available in a number of materials, hardnesses and diameters between 3mm and 25mm. Our extensive material range includes Neoprene, Nitrile, EPDM, PVC, Expanded Neoprene and Expanded Silicone. This selection allows you to choose a product that caters for any environmental, contact substances or temperature demands of your project.

Sponge and solid rubber cords are flexible extrusions that are suitable for a wide range of uses. Depending on the chosen material, the cords pliability allows for easy bending and stretching to different shapes and contours. This makes these sections suitable for sealing applications, such as making gaskets and o-rings, that require a flexible product that maintains a tight and effective seal under varying pressure. These rubber extrusions can also be used in automotive, industrial and marine settings for weather sealing and vibration dampening.

Whilst these products are supplied in linear lengths, the ends can be joined together using a good quality adhesive, superglue or silicone sealant to make custom o-rings.
