Expanded Neoprene Half Round Sponge Cord

Expanded neoprene half round sponge cord is available in a selection of widths between 6mm and 25mm. The height of the seal is half the base dimension. For example, a seal that measures 16mm wide is 8mm high. As this section has a flat bottom, it can be easily bonded onto most surfaces using a good-quality adhesive.

Manufactured from closed-cell expanded neoprene, this material does not absorb water and is suitable for making a watertight seal on boat hatches, inspection hatches and other enclosures. It is a highly versatile material that has excellent resistance to UV, air and ozone. We recommend that you compress sponge seals by approximately 30% to create a long-lasting reliable watertight seal.
