Design

Our 3D CAD facilities allow us to work directly with Design Engineers in identifying the best sealing solution for their project. We specialise in the supply and manufacture of standard and bespoke rubber sections for use by those working on projects which require a sealing solution. With over 50 years’ experience, Seals Direct has an excellent understanding in identifying the best solution for different applications whether that is  covering sharp edges, stopping water ingress or cushioning large machinery. With extensive technical capabilities, we can work alongside you by sharing our product CAD drawings to use within your project planning. We pride ourselves with closely working with our customers to find solutions which meet any specific safety, material and usage requirements.

Our rubber seals, trims and gaskets can be used within a diverse selection of industry sectors, such as construction, defence, distribution and retail. The majority of our standard sections are available by the metre or in large quantities, and can be shipped on next working day couriers.

Custom Extrusions and Gaskets

If your sealing solution cannot be met by one of our standard products, we are able to manufacture a bespoke section in a variety of materials, colours and hardnesses.

Materials

All of our seals, trims and gaskets are manufactured using high quality raw rubber compounds to ensure they are hard wearing and provide a long lasting solution. The design industry uses an extensive variety of sealing products, depending on which industry the underlying project is based in. These seals are available in a range of materials such as EPDM, Neoprene, Natural Rubber, Nitrile, PVC, Silicone and Viton to suit heat, weathering or oils and fuels requirements.

Bespoke Seals & Trims

If you do not have design facilities in house, we can offer a bespoke design and manufacturing service if your sealing requirements cannot be met by one of our standard products. We have invested extensively in the facilities to design and manufacture custom extrusions and gaskets so can work directly with your Design Engineers in the development, testing and production of any rubber seals, trims and gaskets for your project. We are able to reverse engineer your existing seal and extrude an exact replica in a variety of materials, colours and hardnesses. Minimum production runs are as low as 30 metres depending on the required material and construction.

Seals Direct are also a leading supplier of bespoke mouldings and gaskets. Depending on the seal and application our rubber mouldings are manufactured using either compression or injection moulding in a variety of materials and hardnesses. We are able to stamp bespoke gaskets from both sponge and solid materials from one off to large production runs.
