Our professional cover strip fitting tool simplifies the process of fitting the grey, white or black cover strip into caravan or motorhome opening window rubbers. Using this tool, you can quickly and easily insert the cover strip into the window rubber without damaging the seal using screw drivers or scrappers.
The tool can be used with our 23mm and 25mm wide cover strips and fits all of our opening window rubbers.
PLEASE NOTE: You will need to diluted washing up liquid or silicone spray as a lubricate to reduce drag as you move the tool around the channel.

Hello, this is an instruction video showing how to use our caravan and motorhome window rubber cover strip fitting tool, CST4335. This product is only available from us at Seals Direct and simplifies the process of fitting the cover strip into the window rubber.
The first thing we need to do is lubricate the rubber to ensure that the tool slides around the seal without dragging. This is done by spraying a light coat of silicone spray all the way around the window rubber to allow the tool to glide as you fit the cover strip.
Next you need to insert the fitting tool into the window rubber. To do this, lift up the ears in the centre of the rubber and slide the tool inside.
We then get the cover strip. This is available in grey, white or black. Insert the end of the cover strip through the centre of the tool and back into the rubber.
With one hand, hold the cover strip down and slowly move the tool forward. This lays the cover strip into the channel in the rubber.
Continue this around the whole seal.
As you get towards the joint, gently pull the tool over the start of the strip. You do need to allow a slight overlap of a couple of inches. Cut to length and pull the cover strip over the top, drops the end in and pull the tool out.
