This clear adhesive acrylic tape is 50mm wide by 1mm thick and is supplied in a 3 metre roll. It is a high bond doubled sided tape that can be applied to smooth and slightly textured surfaces by peeling off the red release paper and sticking in place. This product is suitable for application to most substrates, such as plastic, acrylic, wood, ceramics, stone, metal and rubber.
Before using this product, we recommend that all surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust and grease. Position the adhesive strip onto the substrate without removing the outer protector. Press firmly all the way along the tape to ensure a firm adhesion. Peel off the release liner and carefully position the object. Press firmly for at least 10 seconds all the way along the tape.
Acrylic tape takes several hours to achieve maximum adhesion. Within the first few minutes, the bonding force is approximately 70%. This increases to 90-95% within 24 hours, and 100% within 48 hours.
