Black EPDM Replacement Fairline Insert - 34.7mm x 16mm (RI5140)

This black EPDM replacement insert is 34.7mm wide by 16mm high and is supplied by the linear metre. This insert pushes into a channel in your existing fender or rail to help protect your boat from bumps or knocks in the event of impact. It is normally used on Fairline boats.

Although commonly used within the marine industry, this section can be used in other industrial settings, such as docking bays and factories, where there is an existing groove or channel capable of taking this width profile.

We manufacture this product from high quality marine grade EPDM which is a rubber compound suitable for a wide range of everyday and industrial applications. EPDM is around the same hardness (70° Shore A) as the rubber on a car tyre and has an operating temperature range between -40°C to +120°C. Unlike PVC, EPDM stays the same hardness all year round.
