This rubber U fender is 25mm wide by 37mm high and fits onto a 10mm flange. This fender is ideal for protecting your boat or other marine vessel from bumps or knocks in the event of impact. Although commonly used within the marine industry, this profile can be used in other industrial settings, such as docking bays and factories, where you are looking for protection from bumps and impact.
This profile is designed for DIY installation. To fit this section, locate the fender onto the flange and secure in place. You can then fasten through the underneath of the profile and into the flange using self-tapping screws or rivets. This profile is designed to fit a 10mm flange/edge.
We manufacture this product from high quality EPDM which is a rubber compound suitable for a wide range of everyday and industrial applications. EPDM is around the same hardness (70° Shore A) as the rubber on a car tyre and has an operating temperature range between -40°C to +120°C. Unlike PVC, EPDM will stay the same hardness all year round.
This item is manufactured in 25 metre coils. For example, an order for 45 metres would be supplied as 25 metres and 20 metres.
