This PVC edge trim, also known as Titanfast, is designed to fit onto a 3mm to 5mm thick panel edge. It is 14.2mm high x 10mm wide. It is commonly used as a decorative trim to help protect the edge on panels, doors and glass. This edge trim can be fitted onto a range of different materials such as sheet metal, fibreglass, glass, wood and polycarbonate.
It is manufactured with a self-gripping metal spine so will hold itself in place without the need for additional adhesive. This creates a secure section able to hold its shape and withstand impact but can be removed and reused multiple times if required. It can be fitted onto an edge by tapping it on with your hand or a soft faced hammer.
We manufacture this product from high quality PVC which is a compound suitable for a wide range of everyday and industrial applications. This material has a good resistance to most substances including some chemicals, oil, fuel, UV, air and ozone. This product is around the same hardness (67° Shore A) as the rubber on a car tyre and has an operating temperature range between -20°C to +60°C.
This item is manufactured in 50 metre coils. For example, an order for 75 metres would be supplied as 50 metres and 25 metres.
