Soft Solid Natural Rubber Strip

Natural rubber is often the preferred material for projects that require a high elasticity rubber with excellent tear and abrasion resistance. As natural rubber is not UV stable, it is commonly used in enclosed environments where it will not experience prolonged exposure to sunlight. Natural rubber strip has a hardness of 40° to 45° Shore A which is comparable to the hardness of a pencil eraser.

It is available in a range of widths and thicknesses to suit the specific size of the channel. Natural rubber is available in up to 2 metre lengths. This means that an order for 3 metres will be supplied as a 2 metre and a 1 metre length.

This material is ideal for applications such as sealing brass and bronze port lights where it will be subjected to high closing forces in an enclosed environment.
