Motorhome & Caravan Edge Trims
Edge trims are commonly used within the motorhome and caravan industry to protect edges and reduce the chance of injuries occurring from sharp and uneven surfaces, such as fibreglass and sheet metal. They can be found around the edges of some lockers and doors, but can be used for any purpose where you require a level of safety protection.
Edge trims are manufactured with a self-gripping metal reinforced spine that allows the section to hold itself in place without the need to adhesive or mechanical fixing. As well as strengthening the section to enable it to hold its shape and withstand impact, the absence of adhesive allows the self-gripping trim to be removed and reused multiple times. Although edge trims contain a metal spine, they are semi-flexible and can be bent around gradual corners, such as most motorhome and caravan locker apertures.
To identify a suitable product you will need to measure the
thickness of the panel that the section will be fitted to.
