This rubber L section is 17.5mm by 9mm and supplied by the linear metre. Although its primary use is within the automotive industry, the unique shape makes this section ideal for other DIY, marine or industrial applications. The smooth black appearance allows this seal to be used as a neat sealing solution in projects where the product will be visible.
It can be bonded onto most clean flat surfaces such as metal, wood and plastic. We recommend using a good quality adhesive such as S136 or A262 (available from our website).
We manufacture this product from high quality Solid Neoprene which is a firm but flexible material suitable for a wide range of every day and industrial applications. This material has a good modular resistance to most substances including oil, UV, air and ozone. Solid Neoprene is around the same hardness (70° Shore A) as the rubber on a car tyre and has an operating temperature range between -20°C to +80°C.
