Hatch Seals

Our Hatch Seals are suitable for lockers and hatches on boats and caravans to prevent water ingress. The type of seal will vary depending on the type of hatch, trueness of the lid, surface available to attach the seal and weight of the hatch. As hatch seals are manufactured from sponge materials, we recommend choosing a suitable seal that will compress by approximately 30% when the lid is closed. For example, if you have a 10mm gap we would recommend using a seal which is approximately 15mm high. When compressed this will create a good watertight seal and avoid compression set.
