Motorhome & Caravan Edge Trims

Self-gripping edge trims are commonly used on motorhomes and caravans to protect edges and provide a watertight seal. They are regularly found around the edge of lockers and doors to prevent water ingress and keep your vehicle warm and comfortable.

Edge trims are manufactured with a self-gripping metal reinforced spine that allows the section to hold itself in place without the need for additional adhesive. As most motorhomes and caravans use edge trims for a sealing function, they can also be purchased with a sponge sealing bulb situated on either the top or side of the clip. This sealing bulb compresses and creates a watertight seal when the locker or door is closed.

These sections are available in a range of sizes designed to fit different panel thicknesses and gaps. To identify the best replacement, you will need to measure the thickness of the panel that the seal will be clipped over, as well as the diameter of the sealing bulb on your existing seal.
